Director

Jerry is a retired local businessman and regular volunteer at the Center.  He is the fifth generation of his family in the Ozarks.  He oversees the management of the facility, plans exhibits and represents the Center on the Salem Area Community Betterment Board.

Jerry Craig Pat Johnson
Manager

Pat moved to the area from the flatlands of Illinois. She adopted the Missouri hills as her new home.  Her days are filled with keeping the displays current, scheduling volunteers, planning events and managing the inventory of unique locally made craft items.  She is very knowledgeable of local crafters and artisans and how their skill has contributed to the culture of the Missouri Ozarks.

Robert (Bob) Thompson
Volunteer

Bob, a retired local businessman, volunteers at least one day a week at the Center.  He is especially knowledgeable of history and nature in the Ozarks.  Bob adds a unique feature to the Center with his ability to recall happenings of years past and to assist people in finding interesting things to visit. 

Jerry Craig David Nichols
Volunteer

David is a regular volunteer at the Center.  His roots are deeply imbedded in the Ozarks wood industry.  He is a retired Agent of the Missouri Department of Conservation and has extensive experience with wildlife habitat management.  In his retirement, David enjoys travel and woodworking.
